Workshop summary

Working effectively with neurodivergent clients requires integrating neuro-affirming practices and fostering inclusive coaching environments. This CPD programme equips coaches with practical skills to support neurodivergent individuals, deepen client engagement, and enhance coaching outcomes. By embracing neurodiversity, coaches will learn to create meaningful, inclusive spaces where all clients can thrive.

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
 

  • Understand how to integrate neuro-affirming practices to create inclusive coaching environments, reduce barriers, and ensure neurodivergent clients feel fully supported.
  • Explain the concept of neurodiversity, including common neurodivergent conditions, and recognise difference as a strength rather than a deficit.
  • Use respectful and inclusive language, acknowledge individual preferences, and challenge harmful myths and stereotypes.
  • Work effectively with neurodivergent clients by creating inclusive spaces, enhancing sensory awareness, and adapting communication styles.
  • Adapt coaching techniques, such as contracting and questioning, to meet the needs of neurodivergent individuals.
