Turning a passion for development into a coaching career

I’ve always had a passion for personal development. When I decided to pursue a certification in this field, I discovered coaching and realised that this was the path I wanted to take. I became inspired to become a professional life coach, with the goal of helping others through this transformative intervention. It was an exciting and rewarding decision, and I’m thrilled to be on this journey. Over the years I am developing Open Bright Coaching, the business which I founded as a result of becoming professional in personal performance coaching.

It’s truly rewarding to discover my clients' potential and support them every step of the way. Watching them grow, become more independent, manage their emotions, achieve their goals, and gain greater awareness and clarity is incredibly fulfilling. Being part of their journey and seeing the positive changes they reach is what makes coaching such a meaningful experience for me.

Learning through training, mentors and meaningful connections

Study with curiosity, embrace the love for people, and take every opportunity to learn from experienced mentors. Explore, engage in discussions, and know that there’s no such thing as a right or wrong question. This journey is about discovering the new you, expanding your horizons, and continuously evolving into the best version of yourself and learn how to help others in a professional way.

I was truly delighted to be part of the training and to take notes on the ingenious and trusted tools and practices shared by our mentors as some of them I use in coaching my clients. It was a fantastic experience not only to learn so much but also to meet new people and form friendships along the way. The connections and knowledge I gained made the entire journey even more rewarding.

Creating impact through client growth and awareness

Most of the feedback I receive highlights how impressed clients are with the incredible results coaching has brought into their lives. They’re excited to explore new paths and push beyond limits they didn’t even know they had. It’s inspiring to see them embrace their full potential and achieve things they never thought were possible.

My favourite part of a session is the moment when awareness is raised. It's when we start exploring reality and challenge the question, "What happens if everything stays the same?" This is a pivotal moment where clients begin to see the reason and understand the commitment for change, and it sparks a deeper understanding of what they truly want to create in their lives. It’s both powerful and transformative.

Find your lane and stay on it - there will be many challenges along the way, from mindset barriers and blockages to the complexities of setting up a business. But keep moving forward. Remind yourself why you started, what the benefits are, and how you can take the next step - grow organically. Focus on your purpose and trust that each step, no matter how small, brings you closer to your goal. Listen to yourself and answers will come. Be courageous to take action too, as this is so crucial to see the desired results come true.

A long term vision for coaching and continued growth

I’ve been exploring mindset development and coaching for over 10 years. Throughout this journey, I’ve read more than 150 books in the field and gained about 5 years of experience in coaching clients, teams and groups. I’m constantly searching for innovative ways to present coaching, making it simple to understand and easy to follow, whether for personal or professional reasons. Currently, I’m working on developing my own theory, which I hope to complete in the next 5 years, it takes time to make the research and to put together new mindset practices. This theory will aim to make a significant contribution to the subject of life and progress coaching, helping people to trust even more and embrace the power of coaching interventions, a theory which will support them efficiently in their transformational journey and hope to sell it in millions of copies!

I highly recommend reading a book for each topic you want to add value to, such as procrastination, limiting beliefs, motivation, overcoming barriers, developing useful habits, and so on. Books are a great way to deepen your understanding and broaden your perspective on these subjects. Or find the way which works for you like podcasts or audiobooks.

I’m deeply motivated by my passion for coaching and the positive feedback I receive from my clients, who continue to express their gratitude even years after we’ve worked together. Knowing how impactful coaching can be in people's lives drives me to want more people to discover its value. I’m also committed to continually developing myself professionally and am constantly inspired by the stories of other coaches as book authors. The transformations we witness remind me of just how much coaching can change a situation, and that fuels my dedication to this work even more.
