During this workshop, you will gain an understanding of the difference between constructive and destructive conflict, how conflict escalates and the unmet needs that drive conflict. You will learn the different ways that we respond to conflict and the impact that those approaches can have.
Finally, you will explore the role of conflict coaching, some of the challenges you may face as a coach, including a look at the Drama Triangle and its alternative, the Empowerment Dynamic.
These interactive sessions will combine presentation with activities, offering opportunities to draw on your own experiences of conflict in small group discussions, as well as a chance to work through conflict scenarios and to consider how you might work with a client experiencing them.
