CPD Programme

Cross Culture Coaching

This session is part of our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for Coaches Programme. This training is aimed towards those wishing to advance their coaching knowledge and therefore you will need to have previously engaged in foundational coach training.

There are an estimated 272 million international migrants around the world. And while that equals just 3.5% of the world’s population, it already surpasses some projections for 2050. Since 1970, the number of people living in a country other than where they were born has tripled. This accelerated globalization leads to increased cultural diversity in the workplace, and a more diverse range of potential business partners, both of which open the doors to faster, more impactful cultural changes. Cross-cultural coaching is effective in developing cultural intelligence, thereby increasing clients’ capability to relate effectively across cultures and perform optimally in a rapidly changing world.

If you are curious about cross-cultural coaching and you want to integrate it into your coaching practice, this CPD training is for you. A cross-cultural perspective will enhance your effectiveness as a coach, independently of your area of expertise –career coach, executive coach, life coach or other.

You will leave the Cross-Cultural Coaching CPD course with:

  • Awareness of how cross-cultural understanding can enhance your coaching
  • Ideas for integrating a cross-cultural perspective into your existing coaching approach
  • Understanding of appreciative inquiry as coaching approach suitable to bridging cultural differences
  • Practical tools and models to use with your clients
  • A resource list for future reference
