It is almost November which can mean only 1 thing… that annual moustache growing phenomenon of Movember will soon begin! Prompted by the very pro-active Coach in Training Matthew Phelps, but not really needing his arm twisted in any way at all, our very own Kris Robertson was more than happy to get involved with what has become an incredible national charity campaign in support of men’s health.
So, on Friday (1st November 2013), Kris will be shaving his beard off and starting his 30 day journey to an almighty moustache! For those attending our November Accelerator Days, you are definitely in for a treat!
Not wanting to feel left out, Jan Lonnen and Lucy Do will also be representing The Coaching Academy and doing their bit by running a 5K Mo Run in London on the 17th November. A great effort considering it would have been very difficult for these 2 ladies to grow a moustache!
Although The Coaching Academy team will no doubt end up looking a bit silly in their fundraising attempts, the message behind Movember is a serious one which is why we’re very happy to be backing it.
Last year, over £90 million was raised by Movember which meant more support for charities specialising in testicular and prostate cancer research and treatment. We want to help make this year even better and this is where you can help:
